Nsight Psychology & Addiction is internationally accredited with the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). As stated by CARF, “The mission of CARF is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through accreditation that centers on enhancing the lives of the persons served.” The highest level of accreditation, the three year accreditation, was awarded to the Nsight Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program after a thorough review of our drug/alcohol and mental health treatment services and demonstrated that our program meets CARF’s internationally recognized standards. Nsight Psychology & Addiction is committed to excellence in clinical care and the accreditation standards are foundational to our business and clinical program.
The three year accreditation decision is the highest level of accreditation that is awarded to behavioral health facility and shows our organization’s conformance to the CARF standards. A treatment facility receiving a three year accreditation has put itself through a rigorous review process. It has demonstrated to the team of CARF inspectors its commitment to offering programs and services that are accountable, measurable, and of the highest quality clinical care.
Currently (01/15/2016), in Orange County, there are over 240 state licensed/certified chemical dependency treatment facilities (Residential/Detox and Outpatient settings), of which, only 15 are accredited by CARF. At the core of the CARF standards is the person served. Nsight Psychology & Addiction is a leader in the treatment of addiction and mental health because we are committed to high quality clinical care and improving the quality of life for our clients.
Being accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities means that Nsight Psychology & Addiction strictly adheres to best practices within the fields of addiction and mental health treatment. When you or a loved one make the decision to come to Nsight, you can have confidence in your decision as our quality of care is unsurpassed.
The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities organization is located in Tucson, AZ. If you would like more information about the accreditation process, please feel free to visit the CARF website at www.carf.org.
It is estimated that approximately 21.8 percent of facilities are accredited by CARF, 19.2 percent are accredited by the Joint Commission, and 56.9 percent are not accredited by either. More importantly, only 4% of the nation’s facilities seek and earn dual accreditation from both the Joint Commission and CARF. NSIGHT is proud to join this elite group of dually accredited facilities.
